Over the past three months, our focus on YouTube has proven to be one of the most impactful decisions we've made at Dogon Packs. While we've explored various platforms, the results we've seen on YouTube have consistently outshone those from other channels, including TikTok. X Articles seem to be one of the best but I'll touch on that later. This shift in strategy has not only amplified our reach but also solidified YouTube as our primary growth engine moving forward. We have had a lot of frustrations with TikTok and understanding all the rules. YouTube is much more inviting to new content creators. Plus the SEO bump from our YouTube Channel helps significantly.
YouTube: A Platform That Delivers
When we started expanding our digital presence, we aimed to find the best platform to connect with our audience authentically. YouTube quickly emerged as a clear winner. Unlike other platforms, where visibility can be fleeting, YouTube has provided us with a stable and growing viewership. Some of our videos on The Dogon Podcast channel achieve 10,000 views, a stark contrast to the mere 200 views we often see on TikTok for the exact same content. This disparity isn't just about numbers; it's a reflection of the quality of engagement and the deep connection we’ve fostered with our YouTube audience. Even though we are only at 135 subscribers they are active and most are customers! They are The Pack. Our increased website traffic from YouTube alone has been amazing. Strongly out performing every other platform, except X articles. People seem to read those and then go to DogonPacks.com So, Thank you for your support and interest in our Dogon Universe. Why YouTube Outshines TikTok
While TikTok has its merits as a creative and fast-paced platform, it hasn't delivered the same results for us as YouTube. TikTok’s algorithm, while powerful, tends to favor short-lived virality over sustained engagement. On the other hand, YouTube’s algorithm rewards content that resonates over time, allowing our videos to continue gaining traction long after they’re posted. They become evergreen marketing. A clear, authentic representation of growth over time. This has been instrumental in building a lasting relationship with our viewers, who not only watch but also engage, comment, and share our content, driving further growth of The Dogon Podcast.
Another key advantage of YouTube is the depth of content we can provide. With more room to explore topics in detail, our videos on YouTube have become a valuable resource for our community. This has positioned us as not just a brand, but a trusted source of information in the health and wellness space. The longer format and higher engagement rates have also led to better feedback, which we’ve been able to incorporate into our products and strategies. One of our first few weeks we hit 60K views on our content. It was cool to watch happen. I know that's not a lot but for me it was fun to be back at it and growing.
Sustained Growth Through Consistent Content
Our commitment to daily uploads on YouTube has paid off handsomely. By regularly sharing a mix of episodes and shorts, we’ve kept our content fresh and our audience engaged. This consistency has been a cornerstone of our success, driving both subscriber growth and video performance. Every new video is an opportunity to connect with our community, and the response has been overwhelmingly positive. The Pack has been instrumental in helping us launch and grow to where we are today! Alpha Pack Members have literally helped us test and develop our first product so it is as high quality and effective. We are excited about the Dogon Go Pack and the results people are getting!
In comparison, our efforts on TikTok, while still valuable, haven’t yielded the same level of success. We literally have posted the same videos, except our 20-30 min podcasts and its a huge difference, consistently. The platform’s fast-paced nature makes it difficult to maintain the same level of connection and engagement that we achieve on YouTube. This has reaffirmed our decision to make YouTube our primary focus as we continue to grow.

Looking ahead, we’re more committed than ever to expanding our presence on YouTube. The platform’s proven ability to drive real results—both in terms of views and community engagement—has made it the centerpiece of our digital strategy. We plan to continue releasing new episodes and shorts daily, exploring new ways to connect with our audience and expand our reach.
